The Alaska Reading Room at the Seattle University Law Library displays not only artifacts belonging to Alaska's quest for statehood, but also two wonderful paintings of nature scenes: William F. Reese's "Fight Song" (year unknown) and Fred Machetanz's "Alaskan Summer" (1963).
