Abstract

This article gives an overview of a speech by Jeanne Kirkpatrick, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, who spoke at the UPS Law School's Tenth Anniversary Celebration. The speech was met with protests, due to the US military's involvement in El Salvador. This article was published in The Trail, a student-run newspaper funded by the Associated Students of Puget Sound.
